Etta C. Webb

DOVER - Etta C. Webb, formerly of Dover and Wilmington, died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, at Pinnacle Nursing Home, Smyrna. Mrs. Webb was born Aug. 28, 1911, in Vienna, Va. to the late Preston Bowman and Mertie McMullen Bowman. She worked as a cafeteria worker for South Elementary School retiring in 1976. Mrs. Webb had lived on their farm off Highview Avenue for 56 years. After her husband died in 1989, she moved to Lutheran Towers in Wilmington. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Dover and Grace Methodist Church in Wilmington. Mrs. Webb was a member of the United Methodist Women. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Arland Webb; daughter, Pauline Catalano; son, Lee Webb; her two brothers; and her sister. She is survived by several grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at Odd Fellows Cemetery, 35 Rising Sun Avenue, Camden.
