Smyrna - Ethel Mae Taylor, "Eppy" passed away at home on October 19, 2014. She was born December 14, 1942 in Wilmington, DE, the daughter of Stanley and Lillian "Maggie" McCall. She retired after 14 years of work for Flapdoodles in Newark, DE. Eppy enjoyed her cats, grandchildren and her garden. She also liked butterflies and Elvis. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 51 years, George Taylor, IV; three sons, George V. (Jennifer), Kelly (Sue) and Joe (Tiffani); seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nine siblings. A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at 1 p.m. in the Smyrna Wesleyan Church, located at 433 W. Commerce St. in Smyrna. Memorial services will begin at 2 p.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Smyrna Wesleyan Church, 433 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, Del. 19977. Condolence letters may be sent by visiting www.fariesfuneralhome.com.
