GEORGETOWN - Esther Marie Willey passed away Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, in Berlin, Md. at the home of her daughter. She was born in Milford, daughter of the late Thurman and Jane (Short) King. Mrs. Willey was a cook for Hardees in Georgetown for over 20 years and was a cat lover. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Grove Willey; and a brother, Robert King. She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Willey-Spurrier and husband Grant III, of Berlin, Md. and Sheila Sweeney and husband Mike, of Newark; four grandchildren, Kay DiBuo, Beth and Kimberly Graves and Jaimie Ling; sister, Gladys Wooters; and niece, Stefanie Wooters, both of Georgetown. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 8, 2013 at Union Cemetery in Georgetown. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Coastal Hospice, PO Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21801. Arrangements by Short Funeral Services, Georgetown.
