FREDERICA - Emma R. Warner passed away on Dec. 10, 2012. She was 97. Mrs. Warner was born in Frederica on May 8, 1916 to the late Everett and Lily (Harrington) Robbins. She worked with her husband at Warner's Garage and was most recently a bus driver. She was a member of the Trinity UM Church in Frederica and was a part of the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the Women's Auxiliary of the Frederica Fire Dept. Mrs. Warner was a member of the Frederica Senior Center and was very active in the crafts room. She has been making prize winning quilts since 1972 and was a great gardener. She also enjoyed the find a word in the newspaper and enjoyed card games. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Warner in 1999; brother, Joseph Robbins; two half sisters, Thelma Clark and Leora Moore She is survived by her children, Carolyn Becker and Ken, of Pa., David Warner and Charlene of Felton; six grandchildren, Kendra and Christian Woolley, Beau and Leslie Eyster, Rebecca and Andrew Calvello, and Mandy and Jason Calvello Cara Yano, Andrew Becker; nine great-grandchildren, Ashlyn, Hendry, Zach, Brooke, Rylie, Noah, Greyson, Sophie, and Luke. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013 in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, DE where friends may call after 12 noon. Interment will be in Barratt's Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her memory to: Trinity UM Church, 4 Front St. Frederica, DE 19946 or Frederica Adult Center Memorial Fund, Frederica Senior Center, 216 S Market St., Frederica, DE 19946.
