MILFORD - Emma Marie Morris, of Milford went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Nov. 4, 2013 in the evening surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her children, Roger Morris of Milford, Carol Neville of Lincoln, Judy Sard of Milford, Donald Morris of Milford. She was also survived by her grandchildren, Rayma Glenney, Aaron Morris, Iris Sard, Bobby Sard, David Twigg, Tonya Marshall, Mark Newcomer Jr, and Josh Newcomer: She also had 17 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her late husband, Wilson H. Morris in 2001; her son, Mark Newcomer Sr. in 2009; her daughter, Darniece at birth; and her granddaughter, Lorraine Sard-Moffett in 2004. She was a great woman of God who shared her love and compassion for 88 wonderful years to anyone she knew. She was the best mom and grandmother anyone could ask for. Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 8, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Milford First Baptist Church, 6062 Old Shawnee Rd., Milford, where friends may call after 12:00 noon. The family request that memorial contributions be given to Delaware Hospice Center at 100 Patriot's Way Milford De. Letters of condolences may be sent to 217 Oak St. Milford, DE. Arrangements handled by Berry-Short Funeral Home, Milford.
