Seaford - Emily R. Brown died on Saturday, April 5, 2014. Mrs. Brown formerly owned and operated the Dairy Bar Restaurant in Seaford. She was a volunteer at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, and the Elks Club. Her husband, Robert James "Jim" Brown died in 2000. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Andrew "Andy" Allen. Emily is survived by a son, Robert Allen (Thresa); two daughters, Phyllis Tull (Ted) and Nancy Roth (Dan); two step-children, Robert James Brown Jr and Kathy Sienna (Michael); nine grandchildren, Stephen Tull (Lisa), Laurie Nellans (Troy), Tricia Willemin (Richard), Eric Roth, Blake Roth (fiancée Meghan O'Connell), Angela Revel, Donna Morgan, Ursula Gardner and Sylvia Brohawn; 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, April 10th at 11 a.m. at St. John's United Methodist Church, Pine & Poplar Sts, Seaford, where friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations may be made to St. John's United Methodist Church, P O Box 299, Seaford, DE 19973. Arrangements by the Cranston Funeral Home.
