Emily E. Ennels Yow, 73

CAMBRIDGE - Emily E. Ennels Yow, departed this life on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008, in Dorchester General Hospital. She was 73. She was born Dec. 15, 1934 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Audrey Cannon and Winfield Ennels. Mrs. Yow was educated in the public schools of Dorchester County. She lived in Glen Burnie, until her illness in 1997, after which she resided in Mallard Bay Nursing Home until her death. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving grandparents, Ruth and John W. Ennels; a sister, Barbara Worrel; and a brother, Daniel Webster. She is survived by four sisters, Edith S. Jones of Hampton, Va., Audrey Street of Newport News, Va., Betty Anderson and Jean Streat, both of Randallstown, Md.; and a brother, Joseph Streat of Randallstown, Md.; two brothers-in-law; one sister-in-law; a very faithful cousin, Francis Williams; and a host of great-nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Henry Funeral Home, PA, 510 Washington St., Cambridge. Inurnment Beckwith Cemetery. Letters of condolence may be sent to www.henryfuneralhomepa.com.
