REHOBOTH - Elwood Morris, Jr., died at home Sunday Sept. 23, 2012, surrounded by his wife and family members. Elwood was born Aug. 7, 1935 in Felton, Del., to the late Elwood, Sr. and Mary Anderson Morris. During Elwood's working career he had been a carpenter, longshoreman, and worked at Kirby & Holloway's meat packing plant in Harrington, Del. Elwood had been a member of the All in one Hunting Club in Dover, Del. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Irene N. Waples Morris; three sons, Elwood A. Morris III Cinn., Ohio, Pastor - Howard W. Duncan Wilm, Del., Marvin W. Duncan,Camden, Del.; four daughters, Velda J. Morris Bronyx, N.Y., Beverly Bone RichWilm, Del., Sonja A. Chandler, Houston, Del.; one brother, Ronald Morris Balto, Md.; two sisters, Mary E. Banks, Smyrna, Del., Marion Gunner Harrington, Del.; a host of grandchildren; cousins; and friends. A service will be held Friday Sept. 28, 2012 at 11 a.m. Friends may call 2 hours before service. Millsboro Seventh Day Adventist Church, 30007 Cordrey Rd.
