PUYALLUP, Wash. - Elma (Mitchell) Leedom, of Puyallup, Wash., went home to the Lord on Dec. 19, 2008. She will be deeply missed and her love will forever live in our hearts. Elma was born and raised in Millville, Del., before moving out west. Her parents, Gus and Anna Evans Mitchell, her husband, Ralph Leedom, and her daughter Beth Ann preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughters, Ruth Morrow and husband Tom of Arizona, and Martha Brackett and her husband Louis of Washington; her sons, Ralph "Tom" Thomas and his wife Arlene of Washington, Michael of Utah, John in Nevada, and Timothy in Utah; her eight grandchildren, Scott, Ryan, Jennifer, Wendy, Cheyenne, John Jr., Timothy, and Nicole; her three great-grandchildren, Jordan, Alexis, and Robert, five step-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren; her loving brothers and sisters, Willard Mitchell and wife Hazel, Eldon Mitchell and wife Judy, Floyd Mitchell and wife Doris, Helen Truitt and husband Arthur, Frances Fisher and husband John, Howard Mitchell and wife Sara Lee, Wilma Graham and husband Bruce; and her nieces, nephews, and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan., 26, 2009, at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, where friends may call one hour prior the service. Pastor Ron Wyatt will officiate the service. Letters of condolence may be emailed via www.watsonfh.com.
