Short Parsons, 84 LINCOLN - Elma Carolyn Short Parsons, passed away on Friday Oct. 19, 2012 at Silver Lake Nursing Home after a long illness. Elma was preceded in death by her husband Paul P. Parsons; son Wayne B. Parsons; and granddaughter, Tamie Parsons; daughter in law, of Patricia Parsons. Elma is survived by her daughter Phillis Hammond and Ed; son, Paul and partner Mary; Richard E. Parsons and partner Gay; son, David A. Parsons and wife Judith; daughter, Carolyn F. Dick and husband Mike; daughter, Diane Parsons; nephew Joseph Short and partner Fran; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great grand children. Elma's family would like to express their gratitude for the gentle loving care Elma received from the doctors , nurses and staff and during her stay at Silver Lake Nursing Home. Graveside services will be on Monday, Oct. 22, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Lincoln Cemetery Lincoln, Delaware. Their family would like to thank Berry Short Funeral Home for their services.
