CAMBRIDGE - Ellinor M. Carter departed this life on Feb. 16, 2015, at Easton Memorial Hospital in Easton. She was born on Apr. 7, 1948 in Queen Anne. Ellinor was an entrepreneur for many years and was very dedicated to all of her clientele. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in 1998 and enjoyed listening to her favorite gospel singer Mahalia Jackson. She also enjoyed spending time with family; sharing lots of love and laughter. Ellinor is predeceased bye her mother, Anna M. Johns; and her father, Leonard Flamer; her stepfather, William Johns, Jr.; and her daughter, Ellen Lewis. She leaves to cherish her memory two children; a daughter, Anike(Allen) Shulties of Salisbury; and a son, Darryl(Cathy) Jackson, Sr. of Wilmington, DE; two brothers, Herbert Jackson of Cambridge, and Charles Johns of Royal Oak; three sisters, Bessie(Howard) Cook of Denton, Rebecca(Edmund) Benson of Harrington, DE and Delores Nelson of New Castle, DE; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; nieces; nephews; and cousins. Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Her final resting place will be in Cheswold, DE. The family thanks everyone for all of your loving prayers, condolences and suport during this time.
