Dulin, 102 1/2 DENTON - Ella Louise Darling Dulin of Easton and Ocean Pines, died at the Berlin Nursing Home, Berlin, Md., on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013. She was born in Denton, Md. on July 22, 1910, to the late Dorsey Darling and Clara Elizabeth Murphy Darling. Mrs. Dulin married her beloved husband at the tender age of fifteen. She was very proud of having worked outside the home until the age of 75 and of having raised five of her grandchildren after her daughter's untimely death. She was an avid church-goer and a member of the Greensboro Baptist Church and the Community Church at Ocean Pines. Throughout her life, Mrs. Dulin enjoyed handicraft work, many will remember the "name" doilies that she crocheted for family and friends. In her later years, she loved reading large print romance novels, doing circle crosswords, watching her favorite television shows, telling stories of the past, and reading a daily newspaper with her morning cup of coffee, honey-bun and banana. Those who knew her will long remember her remarkable spiritual, mental and physical health. She is survived by her daughter, Elmira Elizabeth "Sis" (Dulin) LeGates of Ocean Pines; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Dulin was predeceased in death by her husband, William Carlton Dulin; a brother, Addison Darling; two sisters, Kathleen "Kitty" Darling) Porter and Darius "Rossie" (Darling) Ryan; and a daughter, Peggy Gwendolyn (Dulin) Emmel. Her twin died in childbirth. A celebration of life memory service will be held at the Moore Funeral Home, 12 S. Second St. in Denton on Saturday, March 2nd at 2:30 p.m., where friends may call from 2 until 2:30 before the service. The internment will follow at the Denton Cemetery.
