MAGNOLIA - Mrs. Ella G. McNair, a resident of Magnolia passed away in her sleep on June 13, 2014. Ella was born on Feb. 15, 1937 in Fort Worth, Texas where she attended I. M. Terrell High School and met and married Clinton R. McNair, in 1954, who was an airman in the Air Force. Roy and Ella traveled the world with stops in Japan, Texas, California, and finally retired at Dover Air Force Base. They had four sons, Dennis (TX), Larry (deceased), Everett (NC), and Rodney (DE). Ella retired from civil service at the Dover Air Force Base Commissary. Ella McNair was a loving wife, mother, and friend, and a devote member of the Church of Christ. She will be laid to rest on Monday, June 23, 2014 at Bennie Smith Funeral Home, 717 W. Division St., Dover, DE 19904. Viewing will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday, June 22, 2014 and 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., Monday, June 23, 2014 followed by the Funeral Service beginning at 9 a.m. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in her name to the charity of your choice. www.benniesmithfuneralhome.com
