Hampson, 95
April 29, 1925 - March 3, 2021
DOVER - Elizabeth Marie Hampson, longtime resident of Dover, lived her last months with one of her sons and died of natural causes on March 3, 2021, after a full life of serving her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Originally from New York, she had resided in Delaware since1968. She was connected with several churches over the years: Holy Cross, The Remnant, Bread of Life, Solid Rock, Alliance Family Fellowship, and Destiny.
She is survived by two sisters, Marianne Dyer of Watertown, N.Y. and Marlene Miller of Cortland, N.Y.; and by four sons and their families, Edward, Michael, Dean, and John Hampson. Betty had 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held in her honor on April 11, 2021 at 3 p.m. Due to Covid restrictions, it will be invitation only with a limit of 50 people. There will not be a reception afterwards.
Thank you to our family, friends, and church acquaintances throughout the years. Each has been a tremendous blessing to our family. Betty loved you all.
