Coleman, 79 SUDLERSVILLE, MD - Elizabeth "Annie" Coleman died Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 at Johns Hopkins Bayview Hospital in Baltimore, Md. Miss. Coleman was born in Sudlersville, Md., the daughter of the late Arthur Gorman and Suzanna Rebecca Jarman Coleman. Miss. Coleman was employed at Playtex International products for 33 years before her retirement. She was inducted into the Maryland ASA Hall of Fame on April 10, 1999. She bowled on the Playtex League and enjoyed softball, horseshoes, skiing and farming. Growing and picking pole lima beans was one of her favorite pastimes. Miss Coleman was also an avid cat and animal lover. She was a member of the Calvary-Asbury United Methodist Church in Sudlersville, Md. She will be greatly missed by her family and a large host of friends. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by two brothers, Charles "Brownie" Coleman and Robert J. Coleman. Miss Coleman is survived by one brother, Arthur Lee Coleman; one sister, Virginia C. Davis; two nieces, Mary R. Coleman and Loretta C. Walls; one nephew, John Colemanl; and one sister-in-law, Annabelle H. Coleman. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013 at Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, P.A. 370 West Cypress Street Millington, MD where friends and family may call one hour prior (12 to 1 p.m.). Interment will be held in the Sudlersville Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Dudley's Chapel Church, C/O Loretta Walls, 102 Archer Lane, Millington, MD 21651.
