MILFORD - Elizabeth Bernadette Walters passed away on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012 at the Delaware Hospice Center. Elizabeth was the daughter of the late James and Catherine (Myers) McDermott. She was a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, Milford. She volunteered at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford and was always there to lend a helping hand for those around her. Elizabeth was full of life and enjoyed traveling, golfing, walking and reading on the beach and spending fun times with her grandsons. Coming from a large family, Elizabeth looked forward to attending family gatherings as well as special events. Elizabeth had many wonderful and loving friends and enjoyed entertaining and spending time with them. She made a lasting impression on all that knew her and will be forever missed. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband and soul mate Charles Walters. She is survived by son, Stephen J. Sr. and Paula Kougoures of Kent Island, Md; daughter, Catherine Kougoures of Rehoboth; four grandsons, Stephen Jr., James, Christopher and Nicholas Kougoures; four sisters; and four brothers. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963. Arrangements by Lofland Funeral Home, Milford, DE.
