PALMETO, Fla. - Elayna Marie Palacios passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2016. She was born May 12, 1986 in Bradenton, Fla. to Shelia Ann Heverin and the late Victor C. Palacios. In addition to her father, Elayna is preceded in death by her brothers, Miles Stevens and Niles Stevens; paternal grandfather, Santos Palacios; and maternal grandparents, Virginia and William Melvin. She is survived by her mother, Shelia A. Heverin (Scott); three brothers, Marcus Palacios of Wimauma, Fla., Fabian Palacios and Gabriel Palacios, both of Calif.; fiancé, Melanie Hernandez; paternal grandmother, Martina Palacios, all of Palmetto, Fla.; aunts, Linda (Chris) Thomas, of Henderson, Md., and Donna (Jimmy) Marcum, of Clayton; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 3, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the Fleegle & Helfenbein Funeral Home, Greensboro, Md. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m., prior to the service.
