CAMBRIDGE - Edward M. Arnie, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012, at Dorchester General Hospital. He was born on Jan. 16, 1943, in N. Y. and was the son of Tillie J. Arnie. He attended schools in Cambridge. The Arnie family would like to thank the staff at Pleasant Day. Mr. Arnie is survived by his mother, Tillie J. Arnie of Cambridge; his special caregivers, Brenda Elzey and Jeraldine Dockins; and his second family at Pleasant Day. Pallbearers will be Allen Elzey, Robert Elzey, Leonard Hubbard, Bill Huether and Jeff Hubbard. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Randall T. Blackmon officiating. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the Pleasant Day Adult Day Care, 2474 Cambridge Beltway, Cambridge, MD 21613.
