GREENWOOD - Edward J. Henry passed away on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012 at home. Edward was born in Philadelphia, Pa., the son of the late John and Agnes (Martin) Henry. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army 101st Airborne serving during the Vietnam War. He was the recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He was a member of the Greenwood V.F.W. He enjoyed fishing, golf, riding horses and especially attending his children's games. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Linda Eby Henry; two children, Edward J. Henry, Jr. of Greenwood and Beth Taylor of Calif.; two brothers, Jack and Jim Henry of Pa.; and a grandson, Dylan Henry. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012 at 11 a.m in the chapel of the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, De.
