Edward G. Kuczawa

Kenhorst, PA - Edward G. Kuczawa died on May 26, 2015, in Mifflin Center, Shillington, Pa. He was the husband of Janet B. (Layman) Kuczawa. His first wife, Rose H. (Andruzak) Kuczawa died Sept. 16, 1984. Born in Crucible, PA, he was the son of the late Anthony and Anna (Poper) Kuczawa. Edward was very dedicated to his family and business. He started his career in the hosiery industry and was transferred to Milton. Ed was a self-made man; he taught himself electronics. He was the owner of Ed's Radio and TV Service in Milton for over 30 years. He was predeceased by one daughter, Rachel Martin; and 12 siblings. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Mary Lynch, wife of Paul Wildey, Chesapeake City, MD; his step-daughter, Robin (Dennis) Linderman, Mohrsville; and his step-son, Rhen Smith, Temple. There are two grandchildren, Edward (Karen) Martin and Michelle (James) Chester, and one great-grandchild, Melanie Martin. He is also survived by five step-grandchildren, Kira, Allison, Katrina, Joshua and Daniel; and five step-great-grandchildren, Cole, Hailey, Jace, Willow, and Selma. Services will be held Friday at 4 p.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading, PA. Friends may call Friday from 3 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Chesapeake City Fire Company, 215 Lock Street, Chesapeake City, MD 21915. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com
