Edward A. 'Eddie' Lowe, 64

CAMBRIDGE - Edward A. "Eddie" Lowe, 64, passed away on Friday, Feb. 29, 2008 at Dorchester General Hospital.

He was born in Cambridge on June 15, 1943 and was a son of the late Wilbur Lowe Sr. and Alice Robbins Lowe.

Mr. Lowe attended Cambridge High School. On Aug. 20, 1965 he married the former Wanda Townsend.

He had worked for Cambridge Wire Cloth and retired after 32 years of service. Some of his hobbies were collecting cars and guns.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Lowe of Cambridge; a son, Charles Lowe and his companion, Carrie Ballard of Mardela; a grandson, Jordon Jessie Lowe; a brother, Wilbur Lowe, Jr. of Cambridge; a niece, and a nephew and several aunts and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with the Rev. Mary Ann Farnell officiating. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Charles Lowe, George Ricklin, Jack Wilson, Jimmy Travers, Jack Bradley and Sydney Chase.
