WYOMING - Edgar M. Cooper, of Wyoming, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, November 17, 2014, in Kent General Hospital. He was 83. He was born, December 6, 1930, in Lincoln, to the late Raymond & Grace(Maloney) Cooper. Edgar worked for the United States Postal Service, in Bridgeville, for over 30 years; and had served proudly in the United States Army. Edgar enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, Edgar was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Cooper; a son, Steve Cooper; and a sister, Jean Thomas. He is survived by a daughter, Sue Ellen Sutton & her husband Bob, of Seaford; a son, Robert K. Cooper, of Athens, Ga.; a brother, Ronald Cooper, of Lincoln; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, November 22, 2014, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming; where family and friends may view from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Delaware 4-H Foundation , 113 Townsend Hall, 531 S.College Ave., Newark, DE 19716 or to the American Heart Association, 200 Continental Dr. Suite 101, Newark, DE 19713.
