Boyer, Sr., 87 WILMINGTON - Edgar 'Eddie' F. Boyer, Sr. passed away on March 7, 2013. Mr. Boyer was employed with General Motors retiring after 22 years of service. Eddie was a 50 year member of A A. He was an avid fisherman, birdwatcher, enjoyed the many family fishing trips and was well known for his big hugs and kisses. Eddie was born to the late Temple and Elizabeth (Twig) Boyer. He was also preceded in death by his first wife and love of his life, Rosalie Boyer; his second wife Joanna Boyer; his son Walter Boyer, Sr.; grandsons Harvey Justice and Walter Boyer, Jr. and brother Walter Boyer. He is survived by his children, Sarah Perry and husband Douglas of New Castle, Del., Emma Henry of Newark, Del., Dorothy Williamson and husband Kenneth of New Castle, Del., Edgar Boyer, Jr. of Wilmington, Del. and Rosalie Fisher of Newark, Del. He is also survived by 67 grandchildren and great grandchildren; and his sister Dorothy Hudson of Dover, Del. A viewing will be held on Tuesday evening March 12, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m at the McCrery and Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Highway and Duncan Rd. The funeral service will be on Wednesday morning March 13, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery in Wilmington.
