Earl Smith Hickman, 74, of Camden, DE, died Monday, January 19, 2014 at Pinnacle Rehabilitation Center, Smyrna, De. He is the son of the late Herman T. and Laurabelle Hickman. He worked as a carpenter for Eli Yoder. He was preceded in death by a daughter Anita Hickman. He is survived by his wife, Louise Dawson Hickman; seven children, Mary Mansfield, of Milford, Earl Hickman, Jr. of Frederica, Robin Declean of Marydel, Patty Clendaniel of Camden, Gary Hickman of Lincoln, Janet Hickman of Millington, Md., David Hickman of Camden; sixteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A memorial service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014 at Maranatha Fellowship Church, Rt. 8 and 60 Deer Track Lane, Dover, where friends may call after 9 a.m. Interment will be private.
