HARRINGTON - Let it be known throughout the land that on this day, Aug. 13, 2013, Sir Duane the Bold, a mighty hero, has fallen. He battled valiantly and even thought the battle won more than a few times, just to watch the Dragon rise from the ashes with no less strength than before. He immersed himself in Magic: The Gathering as he searched for the potion that would vanquish the Dragon for all time. He never found it. For 9 long years he waged the war, never giving up, even unto the end. He will be remembered for his strength and his bravery even in the face of such an adversary. He will also be remembered by his friends for his loyalty, his ready smile, and his willingness to help if it was within his power to do so. He will be remembered with love for the son, grandson, nephew, brother, uncle, and husband that he was. He will be so greatly missed. Services will be held on Fri., Aug. 16, 2013 at 3 p.m. at the American Legion in Harrington.
