People want action, but no one is willing to make a change. When has a president issued pardons to family and friends for 10 years? When did a president mandate that every person take a COVID-19 shot or close his or her business or lose his or her job?
Sitting senators and representatives covered for the decline of the mental faculties of a president of their party and promoted him to run for a second term. Then, working hand-in-hand with this president, they claimed they never saw anything, even when it was broadcast by news outlets.
They passed bills that drove inflation above 8%, yet now they talk about affordability. But they had no answers when they were the party in control of the president and Congress. Remember that, in the past, President Barack Obama passed the Affordable Care Act, telling people that they could keep their doctors and that healthcare would be cheaper, neither of which happened.
If this was your business and these failings kept happening, wouldn’t you fire the people responsible?
