SALISBURY - Dreama Sue Dickerson Christopher died Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born in Welch, W.Va., she is the daughter of Castella Dickerson of Keystone, W.Va., and the late James Ivy Dickerson.
She was a 1983 graduate of Norfolk High School in McDowell County, W.Va. Upon graduation, she married Brian Menafee and relocated to Salisbury.
She was employed as a supervisor with Mountaire Farms Inc. in Selbyville for 25 and attended a local church in Salisbury.
Her survivors include six children, Sgt. Devont'e Menafee stationed in El Paso, Texas, Bashauna and Demesha of Cambridge, Dauntaea and Bremante of Salisbury and Bryauna Menafee of Berlin; 11 grandchildren; six siblings, Rhonda "Pat" Logan of Winston-Salem, N.C., Arnetta Taylor of Princeton, W.Va., Jacqueline and Elder Daniel Johnson of Columbus, Ohio, Patricia and Elder Mark Clark of San Diego, Armentra Eskridge of Knoxville, Tenn., Shirley Swain of Roanoke, Va., and James Hamilton of Morgantown, W.Va.; and a host of nieces and nephews. Two siblings, Ulysses "Butch" Scott and Willie Kate Dickerson, preceded her in death.
A funeral service was held Saturday, July 7, 2018, at Jolley Memorial Chapel in Salisbury. Cremation followed.
