LEWES — David A. Tam, president & CEO of Beebe Healthcare, will be the keynote speaker at the 2021 annual meeting of the Greater Lewes Foundation.

Dr. Tam will address the new challenges and opportunities facing Beebe in a post-COVID world.

Due to lingering COVID-19 concerns, this year’s meeting at Lewes Public Library is being postponed, from April to later this fall.

“We are hoping that by September or October people can safely and comfortably come together, but we will be adhering to recommended guidelines,“ Joe Stewart, GLF chairman, said in a prepared statement. 

The 2021 meeting will focus on the rich history of diversity in Lewes, by honoring former Lewes Mayor, the late George HP Smith, and highlighting current GLF Funds that are helping increase awareness of Lewes’s diverse past.

As always, the public is invited to attend; a specific date and time for the meeting will be announced later in the year, Mr. Stewart said.
