Dover woman charged with fifth offense DUI

MAGNOLIA - Stacy Collins, 47, of Dover, was arrested on a fifth offense DUI charge following a traffic stop Saturday, Delaware State Police said.

Authorities said Collins was driving a Hyundai Sonata with an expired registration when a traffic stop was made on Walnut Shade Road at approximately 3:32 p.m. A trooper determined she was showing signs of impairment when contacted, according to spokesperson Senior Cpl. Leonard DeMalto.

Following an investigation, Collins was taken into custody without incident.
Police said Collins and the vehicle were searched and approximately 0.40 grams of crack cocaine and approximately 1.82 grams of marijuana.

Collins was also charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and traffic charges. She was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7 and released on $6,553 unsecured bond.
