DOVER - A 19-year-old Dover man wanted on robbery and other charges was arrested Monday after a brief foot chase, police said.

According to the Dover Police Department, Lewis Foreman, 19, of the unit block of Acacia Place, was apprehended after members of the Delaware Fugitive Task Force attempted to contact him. Mr. Foreman allegedly fled from the officers but was taken into custody without incident, police said.

Mr. Foreman was allegedly found with 43 grams of marijuana when apprehended, according to authorities. Pending charges upon arraignment included possession with intent to deliver marijuana, and resisting arrest, police said.

He was  also wanted on charges from an alleged June 20 robbery in which three other suspects allegedly assaulted two victims in the area of North Governors Avenue and Fulton Street, taking money from the victims, police said. Charges include first-degree robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, aggravated menacing, second-degree conspiracy, and resisting arrest.
