DOVER - Dover residents Darnell Griffin, 36, and Tiffany Lassiter, 35, were arrested on weapons charges following an incident at the Golden Fleece Tavern on Friday night, authorities said.
According to Dover Police spokesperson Master Cpl. Ryan Schmid, officers were called to the business at 132 W, Loockerman Street for a report of who pointed a gun at an employee. Police said the incident occurred at 11:55 p.m.
Officers responded and contacted the employee who told officers he was trying to remove Mr. Griffin from the bar because he was being disorderly. The employee told officers that when he was confronted, Mr. Griffin pulled two handguns from his jacket, and pointed them at him, police said.

A patrol officer located the vehicle in the parking lot of the Days Inn, 272 N. DuPont Highway Dover. Mr. Griffin and Ms. Lassiter were taken into custody without incident, police said.
Police said a loaded handgun was found in Mr. Griffin’s jacket pocket and a handgun was found on the ground next to the front left tire, near the driver door, where Mr. Lassiter had previously been seated.
Mr. Griffin, police said, initially provided a fake name before being identified. He was found to be wanted out of Pennsylvania on weapons charged, authorities said.
