DOVER - A residence was damaged in a shooting incident in the 400 block of Barrister Place Friday at 10:30 p.m. and Saturday at 10:30 a.m. that left a home damaged, Dover Police said.

Dover residence damaged in shooting incident

DOVER - A residence was damaged in a shooting incident in the 400 block of Barrister Place Friday at 10:30 p.m. and Saturday at 10:30 a.m. that left a home damaged, Dover Police said.

The investigation began when the resident of the home contacted police Saturday morning and advised their house had been damaged by gunfire, spokesman Master Cpl. Ryan Schmid said. Investigation revealed that a bullet had been shot through the house sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning.

The home was occupied at the time of the shooting, however there were no injuries reported, police said.

Investigation is ongoing and police asked anyone with information to call 302-736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous. Tips may also be submitted to law enforcement through Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333 or online at delaware.crimestoppersweb.com ; a cash reward is possible for information leading to an arrest.
