Dover-Polytech, Smyrna football games to be played on Monday
Dover High’s home football game with Polytech has been rescheduled for Monday at 6 p.m.
Also on Monday Smyrna will host Howard at 6:30 p.m.
The two contests were originally supposed to be played on Friday night but were postponed after waiting through several lightning delays.
As it stands now, Dover is then slated to play again on Friday at Cape Henlopen while Smyrna will host Sussex Tech. It's the second straight week that there will be Henlopen Conference games played on a Monday because of weather postponements.
