The extent of injuries was unknown after a Dover Police Department vehicle was involved in a collision Wednesday in Dover, spokesman Master Cpl. Ryan Schmid said.

Dover Police Department vehicle involved in collision, extent of injuries unknown

DOVER — The extent of injuries was unknown after a Dover Police Department vehicle was invloved in a collision Wednesday, spokesman Master Cpl. Ryan Schmid said.

The collision at 7:59 a.m. involved an officer and the driver of another vehicle in the area of Barrister Place off of South Little Creek Road, Cpl. Schmid said.

Cpl. Schmid said bother drivers were transported area hospitals for treatment. The extent of their injuries is not known to me at this time as they are still receiving treatment, he said.

More details would be released at a later time, Cpl. Schmid said.
