Dover offices closed, no trash pick collection today

DOVER — The city of Dover’s offices and facilities will be closed today in observance of Independence Day. The city also noted there will be no trash collection today.

Residents are asked to have all trash/recycling set out by Monday, July 6, when they will start on today’s sanitation route and continue into Monday’s. The city also asked that residents leave their cans out until they are picked up. If the volume is high, sanitation workers may not get to some pick ups until Tuesday morning.
