HARRINGTON — Jamier V. Darling, 22, of Dover, was charged with burglary connected to a domestic-related incident Tuesday, authorities said.
According to Harrington police spokesman Capt. Adam Gillespie, Mr. Darling was taken into custody without incident while leaving a house on East Milby Street.
Police said Mr. Darling allegedly entered the residence through a window and then engaged in a verbal altercation with someone inside. A struggle ensued, police said, and Mr. Darling kicked a sink in the upstairs bathroom causing a pipe to burst and begin to flood the residence.
Mr. Darling was charged with first-degree burglary and criminal mischief. He was presented via video phone at Justice of the Peace Court 7 and was released on $12,500 unsecured bond.
