DOVER — The Dover Police Department charged Jonathan Cannon, 39, with a third offense DUI on Sunday morning.
Mr. Cannon was stopped by police in the area of Kings Highway and Park Drive at approximately 2:23 a.m. for a traffic violation, according to Dover police spokesman Sgt. Mark Hoffman.
During the traffic stop, officers detected signs of intoxication and performed field sobriety tests that indicated the suspect was driving while drunk.
Dover Police said Mr. Cannon was arrested without incident for failure to remain in single lane, third offense DUI and additional motor vehicle violations. He was released on a $2,502 unsecured bond.
