DOVER — A 17-year-old Dover male was arrested Friday following a residential burglary, Delaware State Police said.

Police said that at approximately 11 p.m., troopers responded to a residence on Pinewood Acres Avenue in Pinewood Acres Mobile Home Park for a reported burglary. Upon returning home, police said, a 40-year-old woman discovered that one of the windows to her residence had been pushed in, the screen was out of place, and a footprint was on the siding of her home.

After checking the interior of the residence, police said, she noticed that an Apple watch was missing.

The teen was arrested after an investigation, police said.

The teen was charged with third-degree burglary, theft under $1,500 and criminal mischief under $1,000. He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7 and released into the custody of his parent.
