Dover Federal scholarship winners announced

DOVER — Six recipients were named winners of the 2022 Dover Federal Credit Union scholarship. Each has been awarded $1,000 to help with the cost of their college education.

Each year, Dover Federal members that are graduating high school seniors and undergraduates are eligible to apply to the competition. Students compete based on their grades, school involvement, community service and a short essay on a specific topic.

This year’s scholarship winners are:

  • Troy Boxton Jr., Morehouse College.
  • Conor Craig, Delaware State University.
  • Tyler Hollowell, Penn State University.
  • Allison Pokorny, Elizabethtown College.
  • Trent Seda, Delaware Technical Community College.
  • Samantha Winter, University of Delaware.

Applications for the program open each spring. Visit here for the rules and requirements. All entrants must have been a Dover Federal member at least six months before the date of application.
