DOVER — The Dover Century Club will resume monthly meetings Wednesday, beginning at 1 p.m. at its clubhouse at 40 The Green.
The program will include a presentation on the People’s Place Shelter Advocacy Freedom & Empowerment program by Molly McElroy, hotline coordinator, and Stacy Mitchell, housing and employment coordinator. People’s Place provides a safe environment, shelter and support for survivors and children experiencing domestic violence in Kent and Sussex counties.
Club members are asked to bring cans of Lysol for the its Love Our Teachers community improvement program at Towne Point Elementary School in Dover and canned vegetables for donation to the Food Bank of Delaware.
The club holds monthly meetings from October through May and invites women interested in joining to call 674-3775.
