PRESTON, Md. - Douglas Kenneth Gray passed away on Wed. May 30, 2012, at the Memorial Hospital at Easton. He was born March 14, 1934, in Camden, N.J., the son of the late Maurice and Ada Rose Flax Gray. Douglas was a graduate of the Bok Vocational High School in Philadelphia, Pa. He served his country in the U. S. Army. He was raised in Philadelphia and then moved to Pocomoke before moving to Preston in 1966. Douglas was a watchmaker working for the former Wyatt's Jewelers of Easton and Devos Jewelers in Cambridge. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Philadelphia, a member of the Scottish Rites in Salisbury, and a member of the Boumi Temple in Baltimore. He was also a member of the Talbot Rod & Gun Club. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Karen Grunden Gray, whom he married on Nov. 26, 1966; a daughter, Kelly J. Gray; and a son, Douglas Scott Gray, both of Preston. Private inurnment will be at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock.
