HARTLY - Douglas H. Stump, Sr. passed away suddenly Feb. 1, 2013 in his home after a courageous battle with cancer. In his spare time he enjoyed playing his guitar, working on model planes, trains, cars and most of all spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, John F. and Nora Mae Stump, both of Hartly. He is survived by one brother, Dr. John L. Stump of Alabama; his wife of 43 years, Jeanette Carol of Hartly; four children, Wanda Mae and her husband Joseph Mylant, of Willowick, Ohio, Douglas H. Jr and his wife Jessica Mae Stump, of Hartly, Michelle Lynn and her husband John E. Haley Sr., of Marydel, and Jeremiah Christian and his wife Victoria Pritchett, of Hartly; nine grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and two step-great-granddaughter. Burial will be private.
