Donna Kay Samson

DELMAR - Donna Kay Samson died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2016, at the Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Allen Ashley and Leota Belle Lackey Ashley. She worked for Campbell's Soup in Salisbury and Food Lion in Denton and several other places in between. She worked hard her entire life until her passing. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Williams; and a great-grandson. She is survived by her husband, Philip E. Samson; sister, Margie Wilkerson; seven children, Larry Hopkins, Jeff Hopkins, Robin Wimbrow, Johnny Williams, Denise Williams, David Samson and Robert Samson; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two nieces. A funeral service was held Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016, at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
