Donald Richard Walthour

Walthour, 83 MAGNOLIA - Donald Richard Walthour was born on May 14, 1929, and passed into Heaven on Sept. 27, 2012. He was the loving, generous and kind husband of Norma. They would have been married 51 years on October 7. He is retired from the US Postal Service as a Senior Programmer and Systems Analyst. Don and his wife were world travelers and they shared building many miniature houses. Don was predeceased by his parents, George Tatnall Walthour and Helen Sanwald. He is survived by two children, Greg and his wife Virginia, parents of Mitchell and Caroline, Hillary and her husband Bill, parents of Morganne; two brothers, George and Ken and their families; two sisters in law, Ellen and Barbara, and their families. We will miss him dearly and he will always be with us. Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at the Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming, DE. Interment will be at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pa. at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Smile Train, a charity for children with cleft palates, www.smiletrain.org. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
