SEAFORD - Donald R. Dickerson, of Seaford passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at his home. He was 83. Born July 20, 1931 in Bridgeville to the late Harvey and Marie Houttemann Dickerson. Donald worked for Delaware DOT in Seaford for 40 years, starting at a low entry job and retiring as a supervisor. He loved anything to do with trains. Making many trips on trains all over the country, and attending many trains exhibits shows. He also enjoyed meeting with the guys for their Arby's Coffee Club. Donald is survived by his wife, Patsy Wallace Dickerson, of 45 years; two daughters, Pamela Dickerson of Denton, Md. and Brenda Stewart of Seaford; a grandson, Franklin Stewart III of Seaford; two brothers, Robert Dickerson and his wife Barbara of Bridgeville, and Gary Dickerson and his wife Judy of Greenwood. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 W. Market St., Greenwood, DE 19950. Friends and family may call from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Interment will be held at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Seaford.
