Stallard, 79 SEAFORD - Donald Max Stallard, formerly of Seaford, died Friday, Oct. 5, 2012 in the Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill in Smyrna. Born in Coeburn, Va., the son of the late Kathleen Mae Smith and Roy Victor Stallard. He was a car salesman, retiring from Frederick Ford Mercury in 1987. He also owned Stallard Gun Shop from 1987 to 1990. He served in the National Guard and he was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church in Seaford. He is survived by a son, Sean Max Stallard of Seaford; a daughter, Donette C. English of San Diego, Calif.; four grandchildren, Scott M. Cannon, Kathryn E. English, Jack W. English, and Melissa E. English; and a great-grandson, Jordy Cannon. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Jones Stallard in 1989; and his son, Shelton Scott Stallard in 1996. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012 in St. Johnstown Cemetery, Greenwood, DE. Arrangements are in the care of Watson-Yates Funeral Home in Seaford, DE.
