Donald Garlow

DOVER - Donald Garlow passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013 at Capitol Nursing Home. Mr. Garlow was born June 5, 1929 in Canada to the late Judy Garlow and Hazel Lewis Garlow. He served in the United States Air Force for 30 years, and was a veteran of both the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Camden Wyoming VFW where he worked as a bartender, the American Legion Walter L. Fox Post #2 and the D.A.V. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Ayse Garlow; son, Marvin VanEvery; siblings, Dorothy, Robert, Wilma Jean, Silvia and Helen. He is survived by his wife, Yoshiko of Dover; brothers, Ralph and Floyd both of Canada; sisters, Norma Barreno of N.Y. and Phyllis Garlow of Wis.; grandson, Wayne VanEvery of Canada; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at torbertfuneral.com.
