SEAFORD - Donald Edward Cranfield passed away Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, at his home. Born in Milford, the son of the late Jennie M. King and Reverend Edgar P. Cranfield. He was a machinist working out of Local 2012. He was an Army Veteran, a member of Nanticoke Post 6 American Legion and Virgil Wilson Post 4961 Veterans of Foreign Wars. Donald is survived by his wife, Georgianna Green Cranfield; a daughter, Kimberly Fischer and her husband Richard of Lewes; a stepson, Frank Morris and his wife Judy of Seaford; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepson, Melvin Morris. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013 at Watson-Yates Funeral Home, Front & King Sts., Seaford, where friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m., one hour prior to the service.
