CAMBRIDGE - Donald C. Wheatley, 78, died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2007, at Dorchester General Hospital, Cambridge.
Surviving is his wife, Peggy Lee Tall Wheatley of Cambridge; a son, Thomas O. Lantz III and his wife, Carol of Cambridge; two grandchildren, Sgt. Thomas O. Lantz IV, USMC of Pittsburgh, Pa., Christy S. Lantz of Cambridge; a sister, Helen W. Parker of Cambridge; sister-in-law, Ernestine Wheatley of Cambridge; brothers-in-law, Elbert Tall of Arizona, Harold Tall of Hyattsville; nieces and nephews, Leah DeAngioletti, Jeffrey Parker, Mark Wheatley, Bobby Wheatley, Stephen Wheatley, Barbara Tall, Ricky Tall and a special niece, Joyce Newcomb.
Funeral services will held noon on Monday, at Curran-Bromwell Funeral Home, P.A., where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park with Military Honors.
