Dolores H. Nelson BOCA RATON, Fla. - Dolores H. Nelson formerly of Crisfield died Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at her home in Boca Raton. Born in Crisfield, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Mable Sterling Helsby. Her husband, J. Kenneth Nelson died Oct.16, 1999. She had been making her home in Florida since 1968. A Crisfield High School graduate of the class of 1943, Mrs. Nelson was a retired accountant and a member of Grace Baptist Church in Pompano Beach, Fla. She is survived by her son, Jay Nelson of Costa Rica; her sister, Joy Fay Tyler and husband Calvin of Salisbury; and two nephews, Gregory Tyler and Gary Tyler, both of Salisbury. Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her beloved step-mother, Mildred Sterling Helsby, and her brother, Harry Helsby Jr. Cremation followed her death. A graveside memorial service and urn burial will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday at Asbury Cemetery in Crisfield with the Rev. Terry Riggin officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to be sent to Evangelical Wesleyan Church, c/o the Rev. Terry Riggin, 1121B S. Division St., Salisbury, MD 21804. Arrangements are in the care of Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home.
